Bug Zapper Quotes

Do you ever find yourself prodding the recesses of your memory searching for the perfect famous movie quotes to utilize in conjunction with savage bug zapper racket usage?

Well worry not, we have done all the thinking for you. Enjoy some of our favorite movie quotes which mesh perfectly with real life bug zapping scenarios.

“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist”
VERBAL KINT (Kevin Spacey) in The Usual Suspects (1995)
Suggested zapper usage: After you have killed a random unidentifiable sketchy looking mid to large sized winged mystery insect with your zapper racket, walk into the bathroom with your racket and gently tap the racket head against the rim of your toilet, thus causing the burnt creepy bug carcass to gently fall into the toilet bowl. Once the bug is floating calmly in your bowl use this quote right before you flush.

"Excuse me while I whip this out."
BART (Cleavon Little) in Blazing Saddles (1974)
Suggested zapper usage: This quote is perfect for sudden face to face human to insect confrontations that happen to occur when you have your electric racket either in hand, or within arm’s reach. For this quote to be effective your zapper must be immediately reachable, no bending of the knees or leaning and/or stretching to retrieve the zapper is advisable. For example, you are in the kitchen having a conversation with your wife, and are facing the dinner table, as you turn around to retrieve an item from your refrigerator suddenly a jumping spider is staring you smack dab in the face – its clinging to the upper portion of the outer fridge. You know from memory that your electric bug zapper is laying on the kitchen counter immediately to your right. You maintain eye contact with the spider and deliver this quote while simultaneously reaching for the racket with your right arm only.

“Go ahead, make my day”
HARRY CALLAHAN (Clint Eastwood) in Sudden Impact (1983)
Suggested zapper usage: Save this little gem for the following situation - the right hand side of your sliding glass door is slid fully open, but a large wasp is repeatedly banging against the closed glass of the left hand side, mindlessly charging  forward and angrily smacking it’s furry yellow head against the glass pane at varying angles. You know full well statistically speaking chances are this wasp will soon completely miss the left hand closed glass side of your doors and instead come shooting through the open right hand side with vigor, buzzing right into your living room. Deliver this Dirty Harry quote to infuriate the wasp and incite it to make an ill faded entrance into your domain (make sure you have one of our bug zappers nearby before you deliver this cutting verbal jab).

“Here’s looking at you, kid”
RICK BLAINE (Humphrey Bogart) in Casablanca (1942)
Suggested zapper usage: A honeybee is perched on a flower blossom, dangling in the perfect position required to allow a full force racket swing with totally clean insect impact and little collateral damage to the flower. Note: If the bee is embedded too deep into the flower at the time of the swing you will inevitably need to also crack the flower with your zapper racket (taking the edge off the impact). You are looking for a situation where the bee is just barely clinging to the edge of the blossom so you can absolutely clean its clock with a power smash racket swing and follow through in textbook tennis form. Use the Humphrey Bogart line right before you swing – and feel free to add in a pre swing, post one liner tip of your cap or a wink of the eye for added cinematic effect and honeybee killing enjoyment.
